Our Earwax Removal Training Course is a two-day programme. Here’s an overview of what each day entails:

Day 1 – Theory:

On the first day of the course, you’ll dive into the theoretical foundations of earwax removal. Topics covered include:

Day 2 – Field Practice:

The second day of the course is where you’ll get hands-on experience putting theory into practice. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain confidence in performing otoscopy, irrigation, and manual instrument usage on real-life patients requiring earwax removal. With a background in hearing aid dispensing and clinical audiology, Heidi has worked for both Boots and Novus Health Ltd. She now runs her own hearing aid dispensing business while also lending her expertise to the Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) sector on weekends. At Meduc8ion, Heidi brings her wealth of experience to train healthcare professionals in the latest methods of earwax removal.

She works across all our hearing care clinics, in addition to leading the ACHE contract on behalf of the Leicestershire NHS Primary Care Trust. As one of our most experienced earwax removal specialists, Donna is committed to sharing her knowledge and practical skills with our students and helping them to become confident and competent practitioners in their own right.

This opportunity will enable you to put into practice the knowledge and skills acquired on the first day in an authentic environment, under the supervision of our experienced team.

Certifications

At Meduc8ion, our priority is your success in your training, which is why our instructor will closely collaborate with you during the course to ensure that you are proficient and confident in conducting earwax removal procedures. Upon successfully demonstrating the necessary level of competence, you will be granted an official Meduc8ion certificate that confirms your capability to perform earwax removal safely and effectively, as well as a personalised CPD certificate with confirmation of attendance and proficiency.
It is important to note that attendance alone does not guarantee certification. In case your trainer believes that you require additional practice, they may propose extra training sessions to help you attain the required skill level.

We provide an option of linking our diary system to yours in order to allocate work whenever you are available and require it. We also offer confirmation of when you can attend the client via call/text.

We provide our Earwax Removal Course at an affordable price of £1250, which covers two full days of training along with lunch and all the necessary equipment. Alternatively, you have the option of purchasing the complete set of equipment from us for an additional £1200 to take with you after the course, resulting in a total price of £2450. Moreover, we are pleased to offer interest-free monthly payment plans to make the course fee more manageable for you.
